It is a time when we recognize the contributions and influences of Asian Pacific Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States. Throughout the month, Yolo County Library will feature resources, cultural activities, events and book recommendations.

Jewish American Heritage Month

May is Jewish American Heritage Month, a time to honor and celebrate Jewish culture and history. This month offers an opportunity to learn about and highlight the diverse experiences and contributions of Jewish Americans in our communities and across the nation.
 
We encourage you to visit your library for a reading list, a recipe and coloring page, and book displays that reflect Jewish voices and stories.

Join us for a 45 minute Vinyasa yoga class followed by a 45 minute sound immersion (sound bath) session that will leave you feeling refreshed and grounded. Yoga will help you ease into the practice and find calm. The sound immersion combines breathwork, light stretching, and a sound bath with crystal singing bowls, chimes, bells, wave drum, and rain sticks. All levels welcome. 
 
Please dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat or something comfortable to lie on.
