Mental Health Awareness Month

Your Mind Matters
May is Mental Health Awareness Month! Mental Health Awareness Month seeks to spread awareness of mental health issues, reduce stigma, as well as provide support and advocacy for those struggling with mental illness and their loved ones.

Mental health can affect anyone, as we all encounter challenges. It's easy to forget we need to take care of our minds as much as our bodies. We hope this month you take time to examine and focus on what you need to feel more mentally centered and fulfilled.

Keep an eye on our Yolo County social media sites throughout May for more resources and information regarding Mental Health.

Stop by any library branch to get a self-care kit during the month of May! Available while supplies last.

Check out our Mental Health Awareness programs this month, including yoga, Mental Health First Aid training, dance fitness, and more!
